If you feel like giving up, read these quotes for some motivation. And if these quotes aren’t enough please listen to this video!

As a creator, I often feel like giving up. I spend hours and hours each week working on my blog and YouTube, and sometimes I don’t get much in return. I think to myself, “Is this even worth it?” “Am I even good enough for this?” “Maybe I can’t do this.” “Maybe I should just GIVE UP.”

And when I experience those thoughts, I kick myself out of it by reading quotes like the ones below or listening to motivational videos like the one I shared above. They help every time.

And do you want to know people who have failed many times but never gave up?

Sylvester Stallone

J.K. Rowling

Jim Carrey

and many more celebrities and other successful people.

I hope this post reminds you of your potential.

“Three feet from gold.”

My favorite goes first! Three feet from gold comes from the book Think and Grow Rich. Napoleon Hill shares the story of a two men who were digging for gold, found an ore, returned with the proper equipment and began drilling. The ore disappeared and eventually they decided to give up and sell their equipment. The man who purchased the equipment ended up finding the gold just three feet from where the other men stopped drilling, finding millions of dollars of gold.

I remind myself of this simple phrase nearly everyday. You never know when or where you own version of a gold mine could be found. You’ve got to keep digging!

“Success in life comes when you simply refuse to give up, with goals so strong that obstacles, failure, and loss only act as motivation.”

If you fail at something or something gets in your way and you decide to give up, you may not really be passionate about that goal. Successful people thrive off of failure, it’s how you learn something and gain experience. Keep trying, and if that doesn’t work, try again.

“In 6 months time you can either be in the same place or a better place. Focus everyday on improving your health, wealth, and happiness. It will take time but you can make it happen.”

6 months may not seem like a long time (it isn’t really), but you can make some HUGE changes within that time frame. You could lose 50 pounds, get a new job, start your own business, get certified in something you’re passionate about, etc.

The only way to change something is by starting and continuing that change!

“Never give up on something you really want. It’s difficult to wait, but more difficult to regret.”

If you have a goal/dream that you think about every day, DO NOT give up on it. This quote really speaks to me because I have goals that I want to reach and they have ended up taking me a lot longer to achieve. Waiting requires patience…lots and lots of patience. It’s something I personally really struggle with because I want things now.

I’ve learned to enjoy as well as trust the process and my timing.

“Don’t ever give up. Don’t let frustration knock you down. Don’t let fear stand in your way. Don’t let time get in your head. Who cares how long it takes or how many times you try. Your only competition is yourself. And when you finally succeed, the struggle will all be worth it.”

I love that time is the emphasis of this quote. Success takes time, and just like the last quote having patience is one of the hardest things to practice. But the time will pass anyway and the less pressure you put on deadlines and other variables of time, the more growth you will experience. Just keep doing what you have to do and don’t worry about all that.

“Keep going. Everything you need will come to you at the perfect time.”

Everything is energy and maybe there’s a reason you haven’t reached the level of success/life you desire yet. Maybe you’ve got to experience a bit more. Trust the universe, yourself, and timing. When it’s your time, it will happen.

“Just because it hasn’t happened yet, doesn’t mean that it never will.”

This reminds of the quote, “It always seems impossible until it’s done” by Nelson Mandela. Whatever your striving for may seem so far away, difficult, impossible, or overwhelming. Maybe you don’t believe in yourself or you’ve never seen it done by someone like you, but it can happen.

“Stay patient and trust your journey.”

More patience. More trusting your timing and journey!

“Magic happens when you do not give up, even though you want to. The universe always falls in love with a stubborn heart.”

Let the universe know what you want. Say it out loud, write it down, visualize it, and work toward it. The universe is listening and will make things work for you.

“You only fail when you stop trying.”

What if you didn’t give up? What if you kept going and everything actually worked out?? Is it worth it to give up? Giving up automatically means you’ll never reach your goal, therefore you might as well keep going and see the possibilities!

“I didn’t come this far to only come this far.”

This is another quote very near and dear to my heart. I’ve worked WAY too hard to give up now. I’ve put so much time and energy into my goals that I would never give up on them.

How about you? Keep going.

“Giving up on your goal because of one setback is like slashing your other three tires because you got a flat.”

You’re gonna have bad days. Just like this quote states. Getting a flat tire sucks, but would you freak out and pop all your other tires?? Absolutely not.

One failure, one setback, one stumble, does not mean EVERYTHING is wrong. Just change that tire and get back on the road!

These quotes have inspired and reminded me many times to never give up. Whatever it may be that you feel like calling it quits on, I hope these remind you of your potential. Keep going and refuse to give up!
