Hi there! My name is Leila and I’m glad you’re here!
Welcome to Living like Leila, my lifestyle blog that covers a number of topics I am passionate about!
Are you a new vegan or have you thought of going vegan? Then you’ll definitely want to check out my simple vegan meal prep ideas! Going vegan is quite trendy right now, however, this lifestyle benefits yourself, the animals, and the environment. A plant-based diet does not need to be complicated or expensive, and the it’s definitely not bland. You can even enjoy amazing sweet treats that don’t taste any different than the originals!
Health and Fitness
Whether it’s nutrition or working out, I’m all about it. It’s so important to take care of yourself in order to live a long, fulfilling life! So what you put in your body and how much you move your body are key! A healthy lifestyle takes a lot of discipline, but I guarantee you that once you create a habit of it you’ll crave it.
Self-discovery, self-improvement, and self-love are all interconnected, challenging, and on-going. Everyone has room to improve, but improvement takes time. I hope to inspire my readers to become the best version of themselves and to enjoy the journey. I strongly believe in the Law of Attraction and that the energy you put out is what you receive in return! Just keep improving, have patience, and amazing things will come.
After seeing how much student loan debt I had in May of 2017, I became obsessed with my finances and it has only intensified since. I have been tracking my debt (and now spending) since July 2017 which you can find each month over in my Monthly Debt Analyses summary. I have learned so much about personal finance through research and experience and I have grown to love writing about it too!

A little bit about me
I am 25 years old and currently a microbiologist.
When I’m not at work you can find me lifting weights, blogging, filming Youtube videos, meal prepping, meditating, or reading.
I have a few big goals that I constantly work towards: get out of debt, become a full-time blogger/Youtuber, move to California, travel A TON, become financially free to do and give as I please, “retire” early, inspire others to become vegan and improve themselves.
